If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options

Would suggest that NAV or some components of it may not actually be fully
uninstalled, which unfortunately doesn't seem to be that unusual. Look for
the Norton Removal Tool at the Symantec site and then manually be sure that
all the Norton folders and registry references are truly gone.
