If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
I just re formated my computer and now I keep on getting what seems to be pop
ups but they say they are from microsoft telling me that my registry needs to
be cleaned. i already have Ad-aware and norton anti virus. also i also
noticed that before i re formated my computer i had the Internet Security but
after its no longer there. What can i do and has anyone else had the same
problem?

The popups are not coming from Windows. You apparently have already
contracted some malware. I don't know what "had the Internet Security"
means. How did you format your computer? What kind of computer do you have?

Go to the System applet in Control Panel and open it. Look on the
General tab and when you post back with more details include the version
and Service Pack level of your computer (like XP Home Edition, Service
Pack 2).

nawit doesnt look like that. i brought to work today but no pop ups at all. i
downloaded hijackthis and spybot and i scaned my computer on safe mode and i
found of couple of things that got deleted. also i had weblink and backweb on
my cpu and people say that they could be virsus so i just deleted them. i
hope what i did today fixes the problem. Thanks for the help and i will keep
you guys posted on what happens. thanks
