Recently I joined a company (Medium sized company), now we are looking for
not an expensive but rather a cheaper solution on deploying an Internet
Filtering application on our network.

Can someone point me to some good low costs Internet Filtering applications.

A "Medium sized company" should be looking for a FireWall Appliance not
"Internet Filtering

Mostly just to track user internet usage when asked.

Also creating rules so that users can visit only certain sites and disabling
certain sites where users do not have access to.

Does it not seem a solution with an emphasis on safety rather than tracking
might be more useful, accepted, and supported?

As David suggested?
