One Care Live Beta disables Automatic Updates.

If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
I have installed the Microsoft One Care Live Beta on a few test
machines and was surprised to find out that it didn't download and
install the recently released updates automatically. It looks like One
Care disables automatic updating.

Yes, I know the software is in beta but if it is on the front page of
Microsoft.Com you dont think they would have over looked this.

You are doing the testing for this bug as well as others. It doesn't seem
that MS does much testing before they release a beta version.

Replied in m.p.security.homeusers. Please don't multipost - if you need to
post to multiple groups, it's best to crosspost instead, by posting a single
message to a handful of relevant groups (separate the NG names with commas)
