Hello,

I would ask this in the "One Care" section, but its German mainly. (I =
think its German)

Anyway, I wanted to see if anyone had an better information on this =
version of "One Care" than I do.=20

I have not read any of the test, but I understand that the "One Care" =
also did badly on a recent test. Can anyone tell me if that's true or =
not? And if so, what parts did badly on the test?

I bought the software when I got this laptop with Vista already =
installed. And while the "One Care" seems like a good product, I have =
read on the internet that it really is not as good as it looks to be, as =
show by test.

Can anyone tell me if MS has addressed any of these issues if its true, =
or is it just one of those "Buyer Beware" try things?

I guess that if its true, I need to see if Pc_cillin is OK for Vista as =
of yet.

microsoft OneCare has one of teh WORST catch rates in the anti virus market and
it is NOT
suggested to be used.

Suggested anti virus products are Kaspersky and NOD32.

Thanks for the honest reply Dave. I most of the time use PC Cillin, and have
for years, but wanted to make sure that I was not overlooking something.

Thanks again,
Rob
