If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
Remove Norton using Add/Remove programs in Control Panel.
Then ,when you finish ,check for any tracks /Norton or Symantec/ in
C:\Program files.
Then ,turn off and then on the System Restore
>>> Right click on My Computer->Properties->System Restore
Check Turn off system restore.Click OK
>>> Restart the in Normal mode.
>>>Again Right click on My computer->Properties->System Restore
Uncheck Turn off system restore ,so you'll have your Restore function ON.
After that install your Norton again ,update it and check all your settings.
If the problem remains ,contact Symantec tech support.
