Hi David,

When I go to the Multi AV page I saw specific instructions for different
file system.
I am using windows xp(NTFS). Is there anything I should do beside what you
have stated in the reply message.

Can you give me simple instructions as to what should I do if I use NTFS if
I want to use Multe AV.I cant understand the instructions from the Multi web
page.

Thankyou.

There is NOTHING special you need to run the Multi AV Scanning Tool in relation
to NTFS.

The only correlation to NTFS is if you have downloaded the various AV scanning
modules, you
can create a DOS Disk with the software NTFS4DOS so you can boot off the DOS
Disk and scan
the computer without the NT based OS running.

Hi David,

Thanks for your reply.

I downloaded and installed both Multi-AV and NTFSDOS and successfully
updated AV.

But I am having trouble creating NtfsDos disk using cd-rom since I don't
have a floppy drive.

Can u please post the commands to get the Cd-rom drive in the NTFSDos
software menu?

Thank you again

Not important. Unless you have an extremely difficult virus or Trojan that
can't be removed
in Normal Mode, Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Command Prompt. This doesn't happen
too often.

The file, NTFS4DOS is found in; "C:\Program Files\Datapol\NTFS4DOS\ntfs4dos.exe"

The CDROM would have to have an \AUTOEXEC.BAT file that would contain...

@echo off
NTFS4DOS

It isn't hard to create a DOS Bootable CDROM but, usually the CDROM burning
software would
still need a floppy drive to extract DOS from.

Just ignore this capability at this time. I doubt you'll need this capability.
