...the Mcafee cls in multi-av choked on:-
...well I was going to paste in the log but, the Mcafee log in the
av-cls\logs
directory only contains an old *.html log from a user aborted sweep. ...
so I've multi-av |
Mcafee command line scanned I:_PROGS\DVD_progs\DVD2oneT\ again,
after dragging "dvd2one123.exe" out of "dvd2one.zip" in that directory,
and have got different results from lost first log, however,
here's the log for the second sweep,
i.e. two files (above) are in the target directory, just like were there
during the first sweep.

Summary report on I:_PROGS\DVD_PROGS\DVD2ONET\*.*
File(s)
Total files: ........... 7
Clean: ................. 4
Possibly Infected: ..... 3
Cleaned: ............... 0
Deleted: ............... 1
Time: 00:00.00
The first time, (and in the html log that wasn't saved for some reason or
other), the summary report numbers of files were slightly different - I
think "possibly infected" was 2, ...oh well, ...ANYway, I suppose I'll have
to send it to Mcafee to see if it's a false positive :-)
I'm sure that I've multi-av'd all my drives several times in the past and
this directory didn't contain any problems, ...or did I not let it complete
? ... :-(
...by the way Mcafee cls was good enough to only delete the *.exe in the
above named directory, and also good enough to no delete the *.zip file.
...oh yeah, ...WHAT SHOULD I DO ? I'd be lost without my dvd2one123.exe
...I'm alway running it to shrink a film so that it just about fits onto a
4.7gb dvd-r
