If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
Although I think it's a good program there are annoying bugs. It wont
auto-update although I turn auto-update on constantly and tell it to keep
the settings. It's defaults and shuts off so I have to update manually. It
says I never ran a scan of my system and yet I run a complete scan twice a
week. Starting it necessitates going through about 5 screens before it
starts to scan..... I hope the non-beta version comes out soon.

So have you reported these bugs back to MS via the Beta feedback alias?

This seems to be a common mistake and or mis-perception...

You mean MS Anti Spyware Beta. There is no Microsoft branded Anti Virus product.
