I have XP Pro sp2 and Trend Micro. Over the last few days I have been
getting taskbar pop ups and a halted internet traffic on the MS05-39
virus. I update every time I connect and also ran the extra measure of
running the patch for the virus. Could TM be mistaking port 445
activity as the virus itself. I first started recieving these pop-ups
while I was at my financial institutions website, which prompted me to
take immediate acct. action. I used the guidlines for incursion
detection as posted by Microsoft and chated with Trend Micro and have
come to the conclusion that I have never been infected by the virus. I
was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience?
