The only thing on the top of my head that I can think of adding to this
article is to read email in plain text by default -- block those html
images folks and only see them when you are sure they are safe.

Make sure you have a good anti-virus program as well as several good
anti-spyware programs and be careful where you download the programs. I
have found certain sites such as majorgeeks.com to be fairly safe but
always scan the file that you are downloading for baddies as an extra
precaution.

All good stuff. However, make sure you computer is properly
protected. If you have a broadband connection, you will need a router.

You can buy one very cheap at walmart. This will provide a firewall
that will protect your computer. If you need more info about it just
ask the sales person.

First, scan your pc for viruses, then use spybot and also download
adaware se personal from lavasoft.

Next, make sure you install all of your windows updates, so you dont
have any security risks. Just go to the tools menu in IE and choose
windows updates.

Next downoad a anti keylogger program.

Last, if your computer is still has a warranty, then call your computer

maker and ask them for help.
