Go back into the sixties and listen to "The sun aint gonna shine anymore"
(Everly Brothers IIRC).
FWIW: Java 6 SE is released.

If you want to bash some more companies except Sun, how about Macromedia
^WAdobe: install any of their recent Flash Active X updates and see the
funny ACEs the place on the files and registry entries they create.
They even manage to create them in wrong order sometimes (DENY after ALLOW).

BTW: did I already say that I dislike top postings?

Hi MowGreen,

I'm looking at the JRE6 download link. Has anyone tested this in
relation to whether existing apps work well with the new v6 and does it
work the same for when you want to do a silent install with the MSIEXEC
and integrate with IE and disable the auto-update nonsense?

Hi Stefan,

I went to the main www.java.com site at the end of November and ended up
with v9:(

Is it best to go to java.sun.com instead of www.java.com?

Actually I've just looked on www.java.com and it's still v9!
