If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
I have found many following files in my PC's Window's Derectory;

KB914388.log
KB917159.log
KB******.log
----
----
----

Is this the sign my PC has infected something wrong?

No. These are the LOG files of Microsoft HotFixes !

        Those are the logs created when you install Microsoft's Hotfixes.

They are legitimate. You can read them in a text editor.
They are the log files of the installation of Microsoft hotfixes, probably
to security flaws.
