Only download software you can validate as uncompromised - in the case
of non-vendor site you have no guarantee that the files are unmodified
or uncompromised. Anyone providing a link to a non-vendors site with a
direct download should not be trusted, the vendors sites are the safest
place to download their application.

No person of sound mind would download files from a hack site that
requires a password to access the unknown files when they are available
directly from the vendors.

Always remember - only download files from Trusted Sites.

The following links will take you to vendors sites for Spy Ware / Ad
ware removal tools and also for Antivirus tools. After you install any
of these applications and update them, run them in SAFE MODE to allow
them to properly clean your system.

First, make sure that your Java is updated to the latest version:

These sites are for downloading Anti-Malware and Anti-Spyware tools, in
order that I would use them myself:

Secured2K's AntiPauper (download link/info at)

I think AVG managed to delete some files/infectors but not all.

To remove that sertificate , you can do System Restore before it was
installed.
Start-Programs-Accessories-System Tools - System Restore
Restore to a state some days before this problem appeared.

Then carefully perform the "Check for and eliminate" instructions in my site
and clean :)

In addition , never again install everything you see on a site . This is
some kind of Internet Explorer protection . All ActiveX you install must be
digitally signed from a *trusted* and *reputable* company .Otherwise , just
don't install them ! And then scan just to make sure . If you are not so
careful user , you can use Mozilla Firefox as your main browser because it is
not part of the OS and it would be easier to clean infections if they came
when you used Firefox.

You got something nasty when you were looking at warez sites? No duh.

Here are general malware removal steps. Go through them systematically
and do all the preparatory work:

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting
this - take the machine to a professional computer repair shop (not
your local version of BigStoreUSA). Please note that if you don't
change your ways and practice Safe Hex, your computer will quickly
become infested again.
