Router is on the shopping list. I'll also install a Sygate firewall
and turn on Automatic Updates while I am at it.
Right now, I'm running the scans on my laptop as a test. Seems to be
going well, but I forgot to test to see if CrapCleaner can be
installed in safe mode. Seemed to work like a charm though.
Do you happen to know how up-to-date those virus definitions are?
Thanks again for the help. I am definitely glad to learn this fixing
my friend's computer and not my own.
