If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
You might call it a Virus. It is most likely caused by your Antivirus =
email scanner.

Disable your automatic email scanner. You will still be protected. =
Disable and try.=20

Great catch, Mr. Foldes! IIRC, Norton was implicated in losing emails
like that. I don't remember the details, but for the OP - here are some

Norton and McAfee are notoriously famous for this. It is a quirk in the
email scanning. Been talked about for years in the OE newsgroups. Even
Symantec says it's not necessary, because the Auto Protect features will
take care of it.
