There is no way for any of us to tell you since you didn't provide any
information except for the astonishing amount of money you paid for the
machine.

Make sure the computer is virus/malware-free:

If the machine is clean, see:

After you've done that, if you need more help please see this link which
will show you what details to include in your next post:

Were these computers the one YOU infected ?

You are not going to get help here when you have deliberately posted malware in
the MS News
Groups and in Usenet in general in the past.

That's only about 100 pounds in UK money, so you probably didnt' spend
enough ! <VBG> ...just kidding !
As indicated, you haven't given very much information - suggest you read
through this NG and decide upon a course of action to sweep it for malware
and viruses, or IF there's no data in it that you don't want to lose,
...e.g. "...When did you do your last backup," "...errr what's a backup
?" ...enough said !
, then a factory restore is often a very time saving and effective
solution - ...you may have to read the instructions that came with to
initiate the "factory reset." If you go for a factory reset, you'll be as
sure as you can be that, it's virus and "malware" free and you'll have got
rid of, (if they were present), a whole host of resource hogging startup
services, crap that wants to scuttle along to its' home web site for updates
etc. ...and of course you'll have to do Windows updates and harden it up
for the web !
:-)

regards, Richard
