If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
Every time I open add/remove programs or property setting, I always end up to
an error cause by the rundll32.exe and it needs to cloase.
I need some help. Thanks

What makes you think this is caused by a virus? Did you get a virus
warning from your antivirus program? If yes, what was the exact text of
the warning and what av program/version are you using?

In the meantime, make sure the computer is clean:

worry you. Scroll all the way down to almost the bottom of the page and
you'll see a box titled "Infos Zum Download - Multi-AV Scanning Tool".
You'll see "Download von www pctipp.ch" and the live link to download
Multi_AV.

When all else fails, run HijackThis and post your log in one of the
specialty forums listed at the first link above (not here, please).

Not all tools used will work in Vista and you will need to run them
elevated. If you are unable to remove the infection by following the
general steps, register at one of the HijackThis forums as suggested.

Standard caveat: If the procedures look too complex - and there is no
shame in admitting this isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a
professional computer repair shop (not your local version of
BigComputerStore/GeekSquad). Please be aware that not all local shops
are skilled at removing malware and even if they are, your computer may
be so infested that Windows will need to be clean-installed. Have all
your data backed up before you take the machine into a shop.

If after going through the systematic scanning process you find the
machine to be virus/malware-free but the problem still exists, then come
back with more details per these sites:

Sounds like an issue with appwiz.cpl extension in your windows. This DLL
file is responsible for managing applications. It resides in System32
folder. Try to load it manually using run as box:

control appwiz.cpl

Does the problem remains? If so, then the problem can be one of the
following:

0. file is absent
1. file is damaged by any virus
2. this is a bug of microsoft

In any case, run windows update and windows file protection tool
