Clear the Java cache:

Start>Settings>Control Panel>Java applet>Cache>Clear or follow the same
path to the Java applet and then to General>Settings>Delete files.

Make sure all your anti-malware programs are using updated definitions
and you do the scans in Safe Mode. Here are general malware removal
steps to help you do a systematic cleaning:

I didn't know about cleaning the Java cache, Malke. Thanks for
posting that information!

I had to select Classic View in Control Panel to see the "Java
Plug-in" item. I don't know where it is in Category View.

That's a good point about Classic vs. Category View. I can't stand
Category View and I have no idea where it would be in that View.
Easiest thing would be to change to Classic View, find the applet, and
switch back to Category View if so desired I suppose.

Best,

Steve:

Javascript Trojans will either be .CLASS files outside or .CLASS files found
inside a Java
Jar (ZIP type file). Most software can handle .CLASS files outside the Java Jar
just like
any other infected file but when they are in a Java Jar it is just another
archive file and
the software will not be able to extract the file and recompile the archive.
The best way
to handle these types of infections is to dump the Browser and Java caches then
re-scan the
system.
