This misinformation has been floating around this and other
groups for several months now. Please stop doing it.
Anyone can download the FREE AVG 7.5 version, or else the
Free-and-Trial PAID (full) version, here, directly from
Grisoft's web site:
http://free.grisoft.com/doc/5390/lng/us/tpl/v5
It's what I use, it works great, and it's totally freeware.
The "30 day trial period" is only if you download the free
version _with_ the 30 day trial paid version. Grisoft makes
this clear in the same download page as the free version:
>>This setup contains the free as well as the paid version of
>>AVG Anti-Spyware. After the installation, a free 30-day trial
>>version containing all the extensions of the full version
>>will be activated. At the end of the trial, these extensions
>>will be deactivated and the program will turn into a
>>feature-limited freeware version. The purchased license code
>>can be entered at any time.
