I'm getting 6 or more emails each month from unknown sources. 3 today!! Most
end up in my inbox and some do get into the junk mail. The 3 today all
contain attachments with virus's. They are always the same size-108kb. I'm
willing to let someone at MSN go into my email and look at these. Why do
these emails hit my account? Cant they be stopped at Hotmail centre. Its
worrying. Thanks

PainterMan had this to say:

My reply is at the bottom of your sent message:

They'll go away in time - as in they'll stop making it to your inbox...
Well, hopefully. Just delete them without opening them (of course) and
that's about all you can do until there are definitions updated to move that
stuff off the mail server.

_____

If you used an ISP that scanned email for viruses they would be eliminated
before you received them. Some ISPs scan incoming and outgoing email for
viral infection. It is the only way to protect the web from being flooded
with infected messages until all users have adequate antivirus protection.

If you'd like, I can send you an invite to Gmail which does an excellent job
of filtering spam and junk. You can have all of your Hotmail emails forwarded
to your Gmail account. Also, if you opened one of these emails and haven't
had your computer cleaned, go to the Fast Malware Removal page on my website:
www.stopmalware.tk and follow the instructions there
