I have a directory C:\Documents and Settings\(My PC's Name)\Local
settings\Application Data\Qurb4\Express\ That has accumlated many (probably
thousands) of files some of them in the 1GB range that has eaten up about 67
out of my 80 GB drive. I renamed the directory, and continued to use the PC
for several days, and the directory has been recreated and contains only a
small 1 KB file. Is it an intrusion, or just a problem where XP didn't delete
some temporary files?

Can I safely delete all these files?

I'm willing to blindly say 'yes' that you can delete them though do/did you
have Qurb installed? It has a new name as it was bought by CA I think? That
might have generated SOME files but hopefully not that many.
