If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
It appears that CA has abandoned NT. That's what they just told us.
It appears they don't even offer antivirus signature updates any longer for
running versions on NT.

They also claim that their software is "rented" rather than licensed without
time limit.
So, we are out of luck at the moment in updating our production NT systems.

I don't know why this would surprise you. Setting aside whether or not
NT still works well for you, it is an obsolete operating system and
most software writers have moved on. After all, they are in business to
make money and the market isn't with NT users.

You'll have to look around for an av vendor that still supports NT or 1)
take the NT machines off the Internet (not a bad idea anyway); 2) move
up to at least Win2k (XP would be better).

Almost all commercial versions of AV software are leased/licensed for
the period of the update/1 year/x months.

NT is no longer supported - move on.
