Hi all,

I've got a problem with Intel e1000 NIC's on SecurePlatform running
Checkpoint R55 AI. My firewall contains two nodes in Active/Standby
mode. Each node reports errors (from duplex mismatch on the NICs) and
the cluster keeps on failing over from one node to the other.

I've installed the patch from Checkpoint for R55 for the e1000 network
card, but while I ran patch add **** I aborted. This resulted in SPLAT
thinking that the patch was installed and its not allowing me to
re-install the patch (keeps on reporting that the patch has already
been installed).

Can somebody assist on how to remove a patch in order to re-apply it?
What does the patch utility do and how can I roll back its changes to
such a state that I can re-run patch add for the e1000 driver update?

Regards,
Gabriel
