For use in C++ on my linux box, I need a good
pseudo-random number generator whose state can
be saved and restored so it would pick up
where it left off. Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help.
Mike.

I see the problem of good random numbers - but why a pseudo generator
and not a real random source, and why saving it's state?
