If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
I am looking for a program which will work in a windows environment that
will hide and encrypt directorys in win xp.

Oh, free would be good too.

Modt of the time i use the following for simple use. It doesnt
technically encrypt the data, but just the name. Whats good is that
once protected, if u click on the folder, it will always open control
panel. Basically and clean way of hiding stuff.

Search for : FakeFolder

I admit that this might might not be what u are looking for, but its
still worth trying for simple purposes!
