If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
The U.S. will begin issuing passports with RFID chips in August.
Security experts fear these can be read from afar by criminals and the
like. Here is information on why this technology "touted" as security
might not be a good idea:

It sounds like the first two sentences are fact. The last is opinion. Seems
clear to me, unless Notan claims either that the US passports will not user
RFID chips, or that no Security experts fear reading from afar.
