If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options

use the "-l" option
EG:
/usr/local/bin/snort -l /var/log/snort -h 10.0.0.0/24
This, and many other answers for snort can be found in the man page, and
also at http://www.snort.org/docs. May I politely suggest you search for
your answers in either of those locations first?
