I think you are slightly off the mark with BS7799. Isn't that a
corporate certificate, rather than an individual one?
Having said that, you can become qualified as a lead auditor I
understand, which enables you to audit corporates against the
standard.
The main user group for BS7799 (ISO17799), by the way, is at
http://www.17799.com
Another area you might look is ITIL. This is more service management
related, but there is a security element in there.
