Seeking Network Security Expert (patch management)
Our client is looking for people with deep expertise in computer
network security, particularly patch management. We will pay you to
participate in a brief interview with our client via telephone. You
can participate even if you are working full-time for another firm.
You are particularly familiar with the major providers of network
security products focused on patch management (Hercules from Citadel
Security Software, BigFix Enterprise Suite, Ecora Patch Manager,
PatchLink Update, etc.) You likely have significant experience
providing network security for large-scale networks, e.g., as the CTO
of a company.
Our client is interested in knowing:
Service questions: What differentiates the major services? What is
state-of-the-art today? What's on the drawing board? What new trends
and technologies do you see?
Industry questions: How do the major vendors compare in their
penetration of the different markets for network security? What are
the drivers of growth, and the overall industry outlook? How are they
responding to the challenges in the network security industry?
Qualifications: As an expert, you have at least seven years experience
in the IT industry. You have a "big picture" perspective on
different firms in the space. Insight into both business and
technology issues is helpful.
