I'd like to digitally sign all outbound email with a server's X.509
certificate (e.g. proxy sign).

Is it feasible for one certificate to be used to sign on another's
behalf (e.g. add a Sender: header field and sign with this Sender's
certificate)? At least this would tell the recipient that the message
originated from a server with our certificate.

Or does the server need dedicated user certificates for each outbound
email sender?

Thanks,

Jim
