Hi.
Is there any program that you could filter and disable yuor modem for
calling 1900 and long distance number?
I'm not looking for removing hidden program that dial long distance. Let say
this program exist in my comp. It disconnects modem and trying to call
1-900, and this other program stops dialing and inform me about it.
It makes me so angry. I have anti-virus, adware, firewalls and all this crap
and this didn't prevent my comp to call once 1-900.
thanks

I don't know -- but in Canada and the USA, it is common for you to be
able to call your telephone provider and ask them to block toll-surcharge
calls. Not as common to be able to block all long distance, but
possible. In the USA, the easiest way to block long distance is
possibly to tell the phone company to remove the "default long distance
carrier". Without a default carrier, you have to dial a carrier
string for every deliberate long distance call.
