I am looking for software that can control access to a child's PC.
Specifically, I am looking for something that can log all programs my
child runs (including time spent in the program) and also set time
limits on certain groups of programs, ie - allow 1 hour of "game"
software per day.

Is there anything out there that can do this?

Thanks in advance.

There is no software solution, which is reliable for that. There are
only very good wetware solutions for it.

Say: your child needs an adult, who attends to her/him. This job
cannot be done by a piece of hardware or some software program.

Yours,
VB.

There's sure as heck a market for this, but I'm not aware of anything
all that reliable for it right now. Net Nanny and the like are out
there, but are circumventable by a savvy kid.
