To all,

I am trying to set up couple PC's at a retail store as eBoucher so that
customers can view. We'd like to allow some internet access, such as
browsing, so no e-mail, and no attachment and upload so customer cannot
upload our Boucher or any vital information anywhere. My
objective/problems are as followed:

(i) Locking file and program Access
(ii) Locking Internet/Allowing browsing but not uploading

(i) Can be easily achieved by using Windows Logon as well as some off
the shelf software. However, (ii) seems to be a little difficult and I
haven't found any software doing this job. Anyway, it'd be great if any
of u guys can suggest me or share with me your experiences.

Al

(ii)can be acheived running Dansguardian, but this requires a 2nd
computer acting as a content filter/firewall.

There is still the problem of copy/paste into webmail. I'm not sure if
computer policay allows you to block this.
