Hi all,

I am Sys Admin for a small development company, we have a small
bandwidth and i see that my MTRG all ways shows full.

I would like to know how in the network is utilizing the bandwidth. I
am using Cisco pix as my firewall and also doing a NAT/PAT on it.
Because I am doing NAT/PAT on it, I am unable to check the LAN users
Internet usage details.

Earlier I used Linux firewall (self build) on IP Tables & used NTOP to
find the usage of LAN users but on Cisco PIX I am unaware. Please
suggest some way out.

Thanks,
Anil

What network topology? If coax, or 10BaseT, simply 'tee' a Linux box
off the wire to the PIX, and run NTOP as before. Switched network or
fiber? Look at the switch/concentrator, and configure a monitoring port,
and feed that to your Linux box.

At least in PIX 6.x, the PIX itself cannot show you who is using
how much. In order to do that you have to turn on logging and
analyze the logs.
