I have a standalone pc with internet connection. I want to set
restrictions to surf to all other sites exept for one.
If I have the default web site (example) www.zyx.com no other site
should be accessible.

Please send more info. Is this for a company or home setup? There are many
ways to do this without buying equipment.

For example, if you use BIND DNS, you can setup a special rule for THAT PC
so that only the external DNS name www.xyz.com resolves while all INTERNAL
DNS names do resolve. There are other ways to. Firewalls block port 80 to
everyone but www.xyz.com. Please send more info.

Turn off name resolution and put www.zyx.com in your hosts or
LMHOSTS file.

If you have XP, you can [I've heard] set the firewall to block
network access except to the appropriate IP.

If you don't have XP and your users might be smart enough to
punch in IPs, then find yourself a good hardware or software firewall
or a program such as 'netnanny' [but that's probably overkill for
your situation.]
