ok, stupid newbie question, after a quarter century in telecoms
software development, I'd like a change of direction. I am interested
in security & forensics, so - stupid nebie question - how to start?

What books, courses, qualifications?

This is, no dount, a faq,but googling hasn't helped,so I ask it.

Browse through Bob Slade's book reviews in
http://sun.soci.niu.edu/~rslade/review.htm and pick a good book.
