I know it's impossible to stop anyone who REALLY wants to copy content
from my website, but do you have any suggestions on how I can make it
at least harder? Is it worthwhile to buy software packages like
"HTMLProtector" (made by QESIGN, I think)?

Any suggestions?

It depends on what you want to protect. Anything that reaches a client browser
is already copied. Anything really secret should remain on the server.

If you want to protect your website from piracy about all you can really do is
rely on the copyright. If your material shows up on somebody else's server,
inform the abuse department of his ISP that he is in violation of your
copyright. BE NICE! They aren't the bad guys, and they won't react well to
tantrums. BE PATIENT! Things take time.

There are some tricks you can do to make theft harder, but they also make things
harder for your desired customers. If you could be more specific, I could be
more specific.

Sorry, I don't know anything about "HTMLProtector." I'm just speaking from my
own (miserable) experience with a particularly nasty pirate.
