I use HTTPS to connect to a server. But some private information appears
in the URL. Can my ISP see the URL I request or is the URL encrypted as
well as the content of the page?
And if the URL is encrypted, how can my request find the server???

The IP address cannot be encrypted, as it is needed in order for the TCP
connection to succeed in the first place. HTTP requests, OTOH, occur after
the connection has been secured.
