If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
i have finished installing Snort with the following commands:

rpm -ivh snort-2.3.3-0.fdr.1.i386.rpm
rpm -ivh snort-mysql-2.3.3-0.fdr.1.i386.rpm

After that i set the internal and external addresses and set the output
DB in the 'snort.conf' file

After this, the following command does not work:

'cp /usr/share/doc/snort-2.2.0/contrib/S99snort /etc/init.d/snort'

PLease Help
