I use Firefox personally, but several folk I know are so set in their
ways, and as such continue to use IE.

What are the best settings for ActiveX - off, prompt, default?

MS provides this information on securing IE and OE/Outlook.
http://www.microsoft.com/security/incident/settings.mspx

If they are going to run IE in high-security mode, adding selected sites
to the trusted zone, they'll find running FireFox easier and safer.

Since Microsoft itself frequently issues bulletins advising me to turn
off Active-X, that is how I have the option set - OFF.
