Greetings com.security.misc:

We are aggressively seeking testing and feedback on the most recent
release of our two-factor authentication system. All product testers
that fill out a brief survey and/or provide solid feedback on the
product will receive a 50% discount on the cost of the WiKID server
appliance (a $4750 value) plus 25% off seat license costs for the first
year. Non-profits, including researchers and open-source development
projects may be eligible for additional discounts or complimentary
licenses.

Testers will need a suitable server for the system. Minimum
requirements are: A Pentium (III 700MHz or higher) motherboard, 256
megs of RAM, at least one NIC, 500 meg + hard drive. The ISO will
completely erase the hard drive. The server can also be tested in
VMWare. WiKID supports RADIUS, LDAP, and has a plugin for Steal
Belted Radius and Citrix Web Interface, plus an API for custom
applications in COM or Java.

The WiKID token client runs on a variety of platforms: Windows, Linux,
Mac, Palm, PocketPC, J2ME and Blackberry (BREW coming soon).

Download of the WiKID ISO is protected by WiKID Authentication. Set up
a a WiKID client here:

http://www.wikidsystems.com/signup/index.jsp

and you will be taken to the log in for the download site. All we ask
for is a valid e-mail address. You will not be bombarded with sales
calls even if you do enter a real phone number ;). Log into the
extranet with your WiKID client and download the ISO and the
documentation.

Why would you care and what is special about WiKID?

WiKID Systems combines asymmetric cryptography and a PIN/one-time
passcode transaction to authenticate users. Our architecture is unique
in that:

* WiKID uses a software client with asymmetric encryption plus a
PIN/one-time password transaction to authenticate users more securely
than certificates with none of the hassles of hardware-based symmetric
solutions
* we can automate the initial validation process based on existing
trusted credentials (let us know if you want to test this as well)
* one client can handle multiple relationships with multiple servers
across multiple enterprises simply and securely
* one user can have multiple clients
* the system is highly extensible - we have extended it to reset AD LAN
passwords

In sum, we are less expensive than other solutions, easier to implement
and maintain and more extensible, at least that's what we're trying to
test ;). If you don't care, sorry for the intrusion.

Please feel free to contact me directly as well: nowen at wikidsystems
dot com

Sincerely,

Nick Owen
