Have a single XP Pro Sp2 laptop running Symantec Client Security
3.0.2.2020. The laptop has a 20gb drive, only about 13 gb is actually
used. However, every do often we run out of disk space. The problem
is that 2mb files are written to the:
c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\Symantec
AntiVirus Corporate Edition.5\xfer_tmp
directory every couple of minutes. File names are 8 characters long,
0-9 A-F (hex it seems).
I can delete these files, but they keep coming back every couple of
minutes, sometimes a couple times per minute.
Anyone else experience this? Any fixes?
I've uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times, including killing
the registry entries.
