Hi,
Can someone tell me if the concept of proxyID in IKE Phase2 is from any
RFC? If yes, which one is it?
If No, which was the first vendor to come up with this idea??

Try RFC 3588.

AFAIK it is from a draft:
http://www.potaroo.net/ietf/all-ids/draft-huttunen-ipsec-esp-in-udp-01.txt

This draft was dropped; instead there is RFC3948 now.
