If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
I am unable to run the newest versions of Firefox or Netscape with
Norton IS. When I start the browser it gets "stuck" trying to load the
home page. Same thing if I try another URL. If I disable Norton then
it works.

Help!!

You found the solution yourself, a better one is even to uninstall the
crap.

Norton IS includes several modules, each having a diffreent function. Identify
the one
that causes the problem by turning each off separately. Then it may be possible
to
correct the problem by setting parameters in the module.
