I am having trouble with my file sharing software (winmx, limewire)
and I'm running on WinXP and use a Linksys Wireless G router. Every
time I test my ports for file sharing the test fails. It says that
there is no TCP port for incoming connections and no UDP port for
incoming or outgoing packets. How can I fix this? I could really use
someone's help. Thank you.

Make sure you know your PC's IP address (eg 192.168.1.100). Enter that into
the WRT54G admin page in the Applications and Gaming page. For WinMX enter
port 6699 TCP and port 6257 BOTH and click Enable. Then hit Save Settings.
I'm not familiar with limewire.
