Hi,

I recently purchased an AMD 4200 64 Bit dual core system and installed
Windows XP with SP2. Atguard V.3.22 ran fine for a few days. Then all of a
sudden I started getting the dreaded Blue Sreen of death (BSOD) a number of
times. The error message is as follows:-

BCCode : 1000008e BCP1 : C0000005 BCP2 : B5920019 BCP3 :
AF4E583C
BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 256_1

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

STOP: 0x000000D1, 0x3339386D, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xB5856CE9

HTTPFILT.SYS - address D5856CE9 base at B584C000, date stamp 385AAFD7

This is an abbreviated version of the message. It also said something about
checking drivers etc. This is a brand new system and all the drivers are the
latest.

Any ideas how to resolve this?

Cheers,

John

Disconect the machine from the Internet, boot up in safemode, uninstall
Atguard, boot the machine, and see if the machine blows-up/blue screen I
guess. If it doesn't blow-up, then you should contact Atguard.

Ask in a propriate group. Enter the STOP number into the searching machine
on http://msdn.microsoft.com before doing that.

I'm using AtGuard v3.22 on a XP sp2 machine without any BSOD problems.
I would suggest that you uninstall AtGuard, then go through the
Registry and delete any reference to AtGuard or WQR (the folks who
used to own AtGuard). Then reinstall it and it should work.

If you figure out how to get the logging feature to work with XP,
could you please post the info.

Thanks
Jack
