Desktop security is installed on my firewall.
When a client try to connect to VPN (for each connexion), they must
download the policy. The problem is some of them have a 56K connection,
so it's very long.
How can I desactivate it (or change the shedule of the download)?

PS: ok, my english is not so good, but, you know, I'm french...

Hello,

the options you are looking for are under

Policy -> Global properties -> Remote Access

>From the "Help" function:
=====================================================
VPN-1 SecureClient - Desktop Security Policy expiration time

The Desktop security policy is only valid for a certain period of time.
After half of this period has elapsed, the remote client queries the
Policy Server for a renewal/update. If the renewal fails, the client
again tries to renew the current policy after half of the remaining
time has elapsed. If the renewal process continually fails, when the
current Desktop Security Policy expires the remote client reverts to
the default policy.

=====================================================

As this property is in the Global Properties section it applies to all
Firewall Modules and Clients.
This can cause issues with legacy clients (or PDA clients, which do not
support Desktop policies)

regards
dc
