If you were  Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
When i type in www.google.com i get
http://?%www.google.com any ideas how to fix this

What does this have to do with firewalls?

You'll probably have better luck posting in a newsgroup specific to the
browser you're using.
