Hello all,

I have a problem with an HP Digital Sender. By design, this device
needs a direct link to an smtp server for its emailing services.
Instead we have one that is several thousands of miles away from the
nearest smtp server and in a different routed network and is not
working well at all (slow and unreliable).

So I was wondering if it was possible to use the local router as a
trasparent LAN intermediary smtp server (proxy) for the Digital
Sender. Would that be possible ?

No. I'd knock up a small Linux box with sendmail myself.
